About Weird In Stock

Weird In Stock is a short list of unusual things you can buy on Amazon today. Right now it holds 150 products. It is deliberately smaller than the sprawling gift-idea feeds it draws from, because everything here has been checked against the live Amazon catalogue and anything unavailable has been taken out.

How products get here

1. Candidates come from public gift and gadget feeds, ranked by how often readers saved them.
2. Each candidate is looked up in the Amazon catalogue. Roughly four out of five do not survive: sold out, delisted, or only available used.
3. Survivors are filtered by price and category. We skip adult products, weapons, tobacco, vaping, supplements and anything medical.
4. What is left gets a short write-up and goes into the rotation.

What this site is not

It is not a review site. We have not used these products and do not pretend to have. It is not a price tracker either, though we do refuse to show a price we could not confirm within the last two days.

Who runs it

Weird In Stock is published and written by Alexey Kravchenko, working alone. Nothing here is a review: we have not handled these objects, and where a claim comes from a manufacturer it says so.
