What we collect

Nothing directly. This site is a set of static pages. There is no account, no newsletter, no comment form and no tracking script. We do not set cookies and we do not run analytics that identify you.

The click counter

When you press a button that opens a product on Amazon, this site adds one to a counter. The counter stores two things: which product it was, and today's date. That is the entire record.

It does not store your address, your browser, the page you came from, a cookie, an account, or any identifier, including a scrambled or hashed one. There is deliberately nothing in it that could tell one visitor from another, or tell that the same person came back. We use the totals to decide which products to show first, and for nothing else. The counter is our own code on our own server, not an analytics service.

The share buttons

Product pages carry buttons for sending a link to someone. They are ordinary hyperlinks and a few lines of code that live on this site. No widget, no embedded script, and nothing loaded from WhatsApp, Reddit or X. Those services learn nothing about you unless you actually press a button and go there, and what they receive then is the address of a page on this site. The buttons never share an Amazon link, so no shopping identifier travels with them.

Server logs

Our hosting provider records standard web server logs: address requested, timestamp, referring page, browser identification and a truncated network address. These are used to keep the site running and to spot abuse. They are not combined with anything else and are discarded on a rolling basis.

Cloudflare

Traffic passes through Cloudflare, which acts as a content delivery network and provides protection against attacks. Cloudflare may set a security cookie and processes connection data under its own privacy terms.

Amazon

Links to products are Amazon affiliate links. Following one takes you to Amazon and passes an identifier that tells Amazon the visit came from this site. What happens after that is governed by Amazon's own privacy notice. We never see your name, your address, your payment details or what you bought. We see only aggregate totals in a partner dashboard.

As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.

Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.

Changes

If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it.
